The Saskatchewan Professional Drycleaners Association (SPDA) was formed in 1987 to help bring our province's garment care industry and allied trades together. This association is a body of professional drycleaners dedicated to the improvement of their profession in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, through proper operating procedures, top quality training, ethical conduct, and the establishment of good management practices.  The association's annual Professional Development Conference sponsors first-rate guest speakers and allows members to discuss timely issues that affect each of us with the industry leaders from across Canada, throughout North America or down the street. Hands-on training seminars sponsored by the SPDA allow members and their employees the opportunity to upgrade their technical skills and receive advice from experts.

Membership in the SPDA includes a membership in the International Fabric Institute (IFI) bringing with it all the benefits enjoyed by IFI members worldwide.

Our current membership includes drycleaners from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, suppliers and allied trades from Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba and across Canada
We proudly support the Canadian Fabricare Association and their efforts on behalf of the Fabricare Industry in Canada

The SPDA is proud to support the Clothesline Program of the Canadian Diabetes Association

Clothesline

Clothesline is an innovative program that consists of collecting used clothing and reusable household items. The money raised fulfills our mission of promoting the health of Canadians through diabetes research, education, service and advocacy. Donated clothing can be dropped off in our drop bins located in high traffic areas. Other household items are picked up at the donor’s residence by our trucks by making an appointment.

For more information on the Clothesline in Saskatchewan, or to make an appointment for pickup, call 1-800-505-5525 (in Saskatoon call 477-4232, In Regina call 569-9025). Information is also available on the Clothesline pages of this website.
